Our client, a well established coatings manufacturer in Modderfontein is looking for the services of a Receptionist & Administrator

Requirements:
• Matric essential
• Presentable with very pleasant demeanor.
• Bilingual
• Excellent verbal and written skills essential.
• Excellent telephone manner, interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
• Computer literacy is essential, i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Previous SAP experience preferential
• PABX / Switchboard experience beneficial i.e. ability to effectively work a switchboard
• Knowledge of clerical and administration procedures
• Ability to work independently and as a team player. Ability to deal effectively with ALL staff and customers
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• High degree of professionalism and conduct at all times.
• Ability to think.
• Reside within close proximity (i.e. Kempton Park, Edenvale, Germiston)

Responsibilities:
• Managing reception which includes liaising telephonically and face to face with staff and customers
• Fielding telephonic customer enquiries and complaints.
• Processing and administration of orders and invoices.
• Processing of sample requests, maintenance of sample register and monthly sample report.
• Assistance with general office administration.
• Answer incoming telephone calls; determine purpose of calls, and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department
• Take and delivers messages when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
• Answers questions about the organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information
• Welcome on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel
• Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and collating
• Maintain the general filing system and file all correspondence if requested
• Assist in maintaining an adequate inventory of office supplies
• Carry out instructions given by the management team and superior
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times;

Direct Report:
The successful candidate will report directly to the Operations Manager and will fulfill a supportive role as required.
