1.             JOB PURPOSE
               
Check, verify, invoice and Dispatch equipment received from clients within the prescribed TAT
               
2.             PRESENT ORGANISATION CHART

                Responsible for smooth operation of the Receive and Dispatch section of the company                                      

  1.           PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  • Adhere to prescribed TAT on all equipment received from clients
  • Adhere to QA processes
  • Adhere to completing of all documentation as per process
  • Adhere to all Baan Processes to be able to give the client service
  • Maintaining all registers (Receiving, Routing, Miscellaneous, Despatch,
  • Follow the Standard Packaging procedure
  • Adhere to all Receive and Dispatch Processes (Receiving, Routing, Data
  • Capturing, Credit Note, Petty Cash, Dispatch, release to Tech, etc.)
  • Driving and delivery Duties
  • Housekeeping
  • Adhere to Static requirements

  • Ensuring that TAT are met at all times
  • Ensuring that the ISO and SHEQ procedures are adhered to at all times – no quality findings
  • Ensuring that all procedures and processes are followed at all times

6.             JOB CONTENT

  • Maintaining TAT as prescribed by customer
  • Receive, check and verify goods from customer
  • Pack equipment according to packaging standard
  • Complete registers and all other documentation
  • Capture info on Baan system
  • Routing of equipment to holding store
  • Capturing dates on Baan
  • Release equipment to Technicians
  • Re-Route items to OEM (RPO)
  • Invoice items back to Clients
  • Scan and Pack items for Dispatching
  • Dispatch items to Clients
  • Scan Pod’s
  • Send Pod’s to creditors
  • Follow up on outstanding Pod’s
  • Update vehicle maintenance plan
  • Multi-skilled                        

GENERAL
All other requirements and additional work (legal and within the greater context of the Position) which may be requested by the Company Management from time to time.
 

  1. BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Grade 12
  • Computer Literate – ERP, Excel, Word and Outlook (E-Mail)
  • Good communication skills – must be able to communicate well in English
  • Must be a Team Player
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Must be Pro-active
  • Must be Customer focused
  • Must be punctual
  • Drivers Licence
  • 2 years work experience in Logistics environment
